Owner, Founder & Artist
Dread Funky is the brainchild of Sheffield-born Lauren Dowling, a visionary seamstress with a passion for creative expression, spirituality and uniqueness.
Lauren started Dread Funky as a one-woman venture, operating out of her living room with nothing but a sewing machine and a head bursting with ideas. Today, she travels the world to absorb the global culture that inspires her work and manages a small team within the business to help bring her dream of sharing her art with the world into reality.
